A 13-year-old girl sustained severe injuries in a daylight stabbing incident. The assault took place around 4 pm on Friday, April 17, near Wensley Road in Woodthorpe, Nottinghamshire. The victim was promptly taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Following the incident, a teenage boy, whose identity is protected by law, was apprehended and charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed weapon. He was scheduled to appear at Nottingham Youth Court on Monday, April 20.
