A young man in his twenties is currently hospitalized after being attacked by two individuals in the outdoor area of a pub in Sudbury.
Emergency responders were summoned to the White Horse establishment on North Street in the heart of the Suffolk town around 11:50 p.m. on Saturday in response to a report of a man with injuries outside the premises. Law enforcement indicated that the victim had apparently been assaulted moments earlier at the beer garden of the Comfortable Cow pub situated on King Street nearby.
According to Suffolk Police, two individuals, both with face coverings and armed with a bladed weapon, launched an attack on the victim, resulting in a single stab wound to his arm. Subsequently, the victim fled the scene with the assailants in pursuit along King Street before veering away from the pub. The injured man was swiftly taken to a medical facility, where he is currently in stable condition.
The first perpetrator is described as being at least 5 feet 6 inches tall, slender, and wearing a black hooded top resembling Adidas apparel along with a balaclava. The second individual is characterized as shorter than 5 feet 6 inches, also slender, and dressed in black attire with a balaclava.
Authorities are treating the incident as a targeted assault and suspect that the parties involved were acquainted. Police are currently examining surveillance footage and conducting further investigations in the vicinity.
