For maximum savings, targeting specific dates is recommended. March 3 stood out as the most economical day for international accommodations. Waiting until April 24 can lead to lower airfare costs compared to market averages, while April 27 offers cheaper lodging options than usual.
Expedia suggests focusing on the period from late April to late May for improved Spring travel choices, with fewer crowds and more competitive pricing. Anticipate a sharp increase in prices around the school break period, particularly on April 2 and 3, which are projected to be the busiest dates for international stays.
Research indicates that the least crowded travel dates are April 28 and May 31. Melanie Fish, a spokesperson for Expedia Group brands, mentioned, “Brits are planning spring with purpose this year, securing guaranteed sunshine, squeezing more culture into long weekends and rediscovering the joy of a cosy holiday home rental in the Cotswolds or the Caribbean coastlines.”

As per their research, Friday is identified as the most affordable day to fly, while Sundays offer the best opportunities for booking tickets.
