While Winston-Salem police have not confirmed the exact number of victims, the NC SBI stated that “several people” were shot during the incident. Authorities advised the public to avoid the area near Robinhood Road and Jefferson Middle School, clarifying that the shooting took place at Leinbach Park, with the school operating normally.

They are utilizing police drones to locate individuals connected to the incident.
