The latest ranking of the priciest streets in the UK has been unveiled by property platform Rightmove, with only one street outside of London making the cut.

Securing the top spot once again is Winnington Road in Barnet, London, boasting an average asking price of £12,538,095. Following closely behind is Chester Square in Westminster, London, with an average price of £11,546,428, and The Bishops Avenue in Barnet, London, coming in third at £8,930,650.

Breaking the London streak, East Road in Elmbridge, Surrey, emerges as the most expensive street outside London, with an average price of £8,795,714. In Scotland, Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh takes the lead with homes priced at £560,000, while Hollybush Road in Cardiff tops the list in Wales at £1,237,500.

The rankings are based on data from Rightmove, focusing on streets where at least five properties were listed for sale in January this year.

Colleen Babcock, a property expert at Rightmove, commented on the findings, noting the continued dominance of London in the ultra-prime property market. She highlighted Elmbridge in Surrey as a standout location for buyers seeking prestigious addresses beyond the capital.

The concentration of high-end properties in London underscores the city’s status as a premier destination for luxury real estate, while Elmbridge stands out as a top choice for those looking for exclusivity outside the bustling London scene.
