Meghan Markle has launched two new products in her As Ever Mother’s Day collection, drawing inspiration from her young children. The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle brand has introduced two candles inspired by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, paying tribute to their royal titles.

These latest limited edition releases, available for purchase starting Wednesday, include Signature Candle No. 506, commemorating Prince Archie of Sussex’s birth on May 6, and Signature Candle No. 604, a homage to Princess Lilibet’s birthday on June 4. This launch marks As Ever’s expansion into a broader range of fragrances and apothecary items, complementing their existing candle collection.

One of the candles, 506, features a blend of ginger, neroli, and cashmere scents, evoking a warm and comforting atmosphere with a touch of familiarity. On the other hand, the candle inspired by Princess Lilibet incorporates amber, water lily, and santal, offering a light, floral scent that brings brightness and openness to any space. Both candles are priced at £47 each.

In a pre-launch interview with Town & Country magazine, Meghan discussed the evolution of As Ever from a humble jam-making venture to a comprehensive homeware brand, emphasizing the brand’s mission to enhance daily life with beauty and convenience for all occasions.

Meghan noted that the products’ names and fragrances are inspired by her children, referring to them by their full royal titles, “Prince Archie of Sussex” and “Princess Lilibet of Sussex.” The couple chose the Sussex title as a surname for their children, Archie Sussex and Lilibet Sussex, in 2024 to unify their family.

While Meghan’s supporters welcomed the announcement of the Mother’s Day collection, critics raised concerns about the use of her children’s full royal titles, especially since Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal duties six years ago. Some questioned Meghan’s decision to prominently feature her children’s names and titles despite her previous efforts to shield them from the public eye.

In a previous release, Meghan honored her wedding day with a candle from last year’s Christmas collection, inspired by her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. The candle, named 519 after their May 19 wedding date, featured fragrances of Moroccan mint and white tea.
