US President Donald Trump was observed appearing to nod off during a gathering at the White House. Trump hosted a Health Care Affordability Event on Thursday, April 24, but stirred health concerns as he closed his eyes and his mouth seemed to sag while others spoke.
A video shared by a user showed the US leader intermittently closing his eyes and tilting his head while at the event. The user commented: “Trump is fighting total war against wokeness as his eyes close and his mouth droops.”
Additional remarks included one person stating, “Trump dozes off at his affordability event,” and another mentioning, “Trump takes a quick nap in the Oval Office.”
The peculiar incident occurred as Trump conversed with reporters in the Oval Office regarding the Iran conflict, where he was asked about the potential use of nuclear weapons. Trump responded, “No, I wouldn’t. Why would I need it? Why would a stupid question like that be asked? Why would I use a nuclear weapon when we totally, in a very convincing way, decimated them? A nuclear weapon should never be allowed to be used by anybody.”
