“Apple Reports Record-Breaking Year for Services”

Apple’s services are gaining immense popularity alongside its well-known range of products. The technology giant has reported a ‘record-breaking’ year, with a surge in user engagement across its music streaming, TV, and news platforms.

Apple Music, now accessible on both iOS and Android devices, experienced its most successful year in 2025, setting new records for listenership and subscriber growth. The platform introduced several updates, including features like Lyrics Translation and AutoMix, enhancing the user experience.

In addition to the music boost, Apple TV saw a significant increase in user engagement, with a 36% rise in viewing time for shows like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. The platform expanded its content library with additions such as the F1 film starring Brad Pitt and the highly-rated drama Pluribus.

The App Store maintained a strong performance throughout the year, attracting over 850 million weekly users globally. During the holiday season, the platform saw a surge in visitor numbers, leading to record spending on digital goods and services.

Apple Podcasts also saw remarkable growth, achieving record listenership, plays, and subscriptions. The company made enhancements to its services, including expanding Apple Fitness+ to more regions and adding over 50 new games to Apple Arcade.

Furthermore, Apple enhanced its Share Item Location feature in Find My, collaborating with 27 additional airlines to improve luggage tracking and reduce lost items by 90%. Apple Maps also expanded its Detailed City Experience to include cities like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, offering 3D landmarks and custom experiences like the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, expressed pride in the company’s achievements, noting the global expansion, innovation, and user engagement seen in 2025. Cue highlighted the commitment to enhancing users’ daily experiences across various services, emphasizing the enthusiasm displayed by customers through app downloads, content consumption, and secure transactions.

Overall, Apple’s services experienced significant growth and user satisfaction in 2025, reflecting the company’s dedication to enriching the digital experiences of its global user base.
