Unfortunately, Vonn’s comeback took a tragic turn as she crashed early in her run, prompting immediate medical attention and the deployment of a stretcher. The distressing incident left spectators in shock as Vonn was airlifted off the course, likely bound for a nearby medical facility.
Renowned five-time Olympic skier Graham Bell, providing commentary for BBC Two, expressed astonishment at Vonn’s crash, emphasizing her determination and the risks she took to compete at the highest level.
