Although it may seem like just yesterday that the festive decorations were stored away, a popular Christmas attraction is already releasing tickets for the Christmas 2026 season starting today, on March 27.

LaplandUK, located in Ascot and Cheshire, will open ticket sales tomorrow at 10 AM, expecting a large turnout of over a million eager customers. The ticket purchasing process is often likened to the frenzy of securing Glastonbury tickets, where parents must patiently wait in a virtual queue and swiftly complete their order within a ten-minute window once they reach the front.

Ticket prices for the 2026 season have been announced, ranging from £60 for midweek dates in November to £155 per person for peak weekends in December. Additionally, both venues will host a special ‘Superstar Day’ on November 25 tailored for families and guests with accessibility needs, providing a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.

Despite the high ticket prices, the experience at LaplandUK offers a variety of unique features that distinguish it from a typical Santa’s grotto. Families receive a personalized invitation in a special gift box prior to their visit, with a personal message from Father Christmas inviting children to join in the toy-making activities at LaplandUK alongside the elves.

Upon arrival, visitors are transported into a magical world, engaging in various interactive experiences such as navigating the Elven Bazaar to enter Lapland, participating in Christmas treat-making at the Lapland Bakery, and enjoying storytelling sessions with Mother Christmas.

According to LaplandUK’s website, the experience typically lasts around four-and-a-half hours and includes activities like ice skating, a soft toy for each child, a small toy for Christmas Day, and a special encounter with Santa Claus deep within a snowy forest.

The founders of LaplandUK, Mike and Alison Battle, shared updates on Facebook regarding the enhancements planned for the 2026 season. Alison mentioned their continuous effort to elevate the experience with more magical and believable elements this year.

The couple also revealed that invitations would be sent out earlier this year, closer to the end of summer, to build excitement for the event. They highlighted improvements for the return journey, ensuring a magical experience upon leaving, and an added feature at Little Rudy’s Stables where visitors can create reindeer food to take home.

Notable changes for the upcoming season include an expanded Elven Village, designed to be more immersive with additional characters. Guests will have extended time in the village to enjoy activities at Fable’s Library, skate on the ice rink, and interact with various characters.

For those interested in securing tickets for LaplandUK, they can register on the official website to receive a booking link ahead of the sale or directly visit the website at 9 AM to join the queue for ticket purchase.

LaplandUK’s Facebook page confirmed that both locations will have separate booking queues accessible through unique links, ensuring a fair process for interested attendees. The page expressed eagerness to welcome visitors for a memorable Christmas experience.
