According to Andrea Platania, the operations manager at Transfeero, a platform for airport transfers, there are certain seats that travelers consistently regret choosing based on the company’s experience.
For instance, it is advisable to avoid booking seats like 30F and 30E on standard aircraft as they are situated near the restrooms. This location tends to experience more disturbances due to people moving around to access the toilets.
Platania highlighted that the constant movement around these seats, with toilet doors opening and closing, people conversing, and general foot traffic, can disrupt the peace and quiet one might desire during a flight.
In addition to these commonly flagged problematic seats, seats in the 30 row, such as 30A and 30F, have limited reclining capabilities compared to others. This may impact comfort, especially on longer flights.
If you are aiming for a restful journey or seeking comfort during extended travel, the inability to recline fully in these seats can lead to increased fatigue upon arrival, as noted by Platania.
Moreover, these seats, particularly in the 30 zone, may result in delays when disembarking from the aircraft. Passengers seated in these areas often have to wait longer to exit as they are among the last to leave.
As emphasized by Platania, this delay, though seemingly minor, can be frustrating for travelers with tight connections or those eager to deplane quickly.
